1) Write Steps With God: 70 Daily Devotions & Writing Tips for New Authors. When I began to seriously study the craft of writing, I took notes and tabulated a list of 50+ writing rules. An idea sparked (from God, of course) to enhance the list with scriptures about writing, application and prayer, as well as advice or writing tips from successful authors. Solicitations for quotes to published writers produced a bumper crop of responses. And now this completed manuscript is in the marketing phase. It has been critiqued by The Write Stuff. Write Steps contains quotes from authors like James Scott Bell, Patricia Rushford, Sally Stuart, Stan Baldwin, and many more, including book quotes from Ann Rule, Stephen King, and Jerry Jenkins.
2) Perfect Witness
What if an undercover FBI Agent is faced with a case all of
his training and experience can't help him solve? What if
he's in a battle for his life, but really it's a battle over his soul?
This completed suspensful romance novel caught the eye of an editor at a large publishing house in New York City. The editor requested several changes. Reworking is in process and my hopes are high.
3) The Relentless DA is the sequel to Perfect Witness. Although in its infant stage, The Relentless DA may be my most aesthetic writing to date. Unfortunately, this WIP is on the back burner due to required reworking of Perfect Witness. I hope to complete The Relentless DA in 2011.
4) NATE: MADD at the Devil
I'm thrilled with my most important writing project. This contemporary non-fiction book reads like a novel. It's the true story of an amazing young man's inspirational journey from teen partier and criminal, to African Missionary. The intended audience includes young adults, prison inmates, juvenile delinquents, MADD groups, Christians and missionaries. Basically anyone who needs hope and a miracle in their lives.
